Delaware Truck Refinishers Partners with Sherwin-Williams

NEW CASTLE, Del.—(March 28, 2022)— Delaware Truck Refinishers (DTR) is excited to announce their new strategic partnership with Sherwin-Williams Commercial Paint in efforts of bettering the customer experience. In addition to being a new vendor to DTR, Sherwin-Williams will also be training the DTR staff in best practices for painting commercial trucks and recreational vehicles (RVs).

Delaware Truck Refinishers’ newest additions to the production area boasts a substantial 80,000 square feet of work area. This space can accommodate large commercial vehicles, trailers and RV’s. It has 30 bays and 3 paint booths. Each paint booth is 65 feet long and nearly 15 feet in height. The company is continuously expanding their presence in the collision and body work marketplace as the go-to body shop for commercial trucks and RVs in the tri-state area. The new partnership will help strengthen that goal.

There are currently 12 staff members at DTR that are involved in the painting and detailing process that will undergo the Sherwin-Williams training in the coming weeks. “The training will take us through everything from detail and prepping vehicles, to using the right amount of paint for each job to eliminate waste and make happier customers,” said Judah Jamison, shop foreman at DTR.
